"Artist's Colorful Cat"
There is a story told about the reknown artist, Salvador Dali, of his pet oscelot who he took to a Manhanttan restaurant. One of the patrons became quite alarmed that a wild animal was dining with her. In an effort to calm her fears, he told her that it was just an ordinary house cat he'd “painted over in an op art design.”
This fun painting by Jody Wright shows Dali's wonderful handle bar mustache (which the cat mimicks with his own).
The collage background was made up of gold leaf, silver leaf and bronze leaf.
